Judging by the amount of retweets I got last night, following my post on Twitter that the BBC will soon be launching an iPlayer app for the iPhone and iPad, I guess there is a real desire to see this happen from UK users.
The one observation I have is that with the launch of this application, are we about to see the iPlayer available on the new Apple TV?
Although it hasn’t been officially confirmed, we know that the Apple TV runs iOS. So surely it’s just a short sidestep from the launch of a dedicated iOS app for the iPhone & iPad to it being made available on the Apple TV?
I wait with baited breath!
